I read somewhere that graphic tees are the longtime wardrobe staple of the openly cheeky and I couldn’t agree more. A bright colored one like the one I’m sporting today, not only upgrades a look but becomes the focus of a chic ensemble.

Graphic pieces are very trendy and versatile. You can dress one up with a blazer and heels like I did or dress it down by donning a pair of jeans and sneakers for a great off duty effortless model look.

This trend has been going strong for years now and is far from new. The street style crowd have also been embracing it and I’m sure you’ve seen them everywhere.

In fact my second son a college student had a very creative and original graphic tee design business for the past 2 years. He created his designs and sometimes my older daughter who is the artist in the house would bring them to life for him and we all modeled them for him. His site is currently down but will be back up soon as he’s done with school and I’ll be sure to share.

I wanted my tee to stay the star of my look so I paired it with wide leg black pants that didn’t take away from it’s personality and attitude. Finished with a boater hat and a vintage Chanel maxi bag, I love the very minimal vibe this look gives.
