She recently said that Kim Kardashian was one of her style icons. And while she may be half her age, Kylie Jenner could easily have been mistaken for her 34-year-old sister on Friday, as she made a dramatic appearance at the opening of Sugar Factory in Miami.The 17-year-old reality star arrived Hotel Victor in a plunging black gown, very much reminiscent of one of Kim's favourite looks.

Kylie's eye-catching dress included sheer sleeves and a long wrap-skirt with thigh-high split, flashing a glimpse of a black mini underneath. The gown also featured a ribbed satin trim at the waist, neckline and cuffs, as well as one pocket of the skirt for added texture.The youngest Jenner girl sampled the treats and posed with a hot pink lollipop (the Kylie & Kendall Black Diamond Couture Pop) - which was a perfect opportunity to show-off her manicured powder pink talons.

Kylie's dark tresses were styled glossy and straight in a centre-parting and she sported coffee-coloured lipstick on her pout. Completing the ultra-glamorous look was a pair of simple black ankle-strap stiletto heels. Fortunately for the TV personality, there was little risk of a wardrobe malfunction as she explained on social media during the evening. She gave her 26.7 million Instagram followers a glimpse of the frock with a photo from the red carpet and captioned the snap: 'Sugar Factory. Kylie lollipop.There's a lot of duct tape under this dress holding these suckers up.'

Hours ahead of the event young fans were already lining up waiting to meet the star with a queue wrapping around the entire venue.

'Excited to be in Miami this Friday to celebrate the Grand Opening of @thesugarfactory on Ocean Drive - come say hi!,' Kylie promoted on her Instagram page. In March the daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner spoke to People and revealed how much she admired her half-sister's fashion sense.She said: 'The people who really inspire me style-wise are obviously Kim and Kanye.'

The teen fashion designer also opened up about how daunting it can be influencing her fan's style choices.

'I am definitely conscious of it. It is a little intimidating to look good all the time, but I just try to make outfits and meet with my stylist [Monica Rose]. 'We will just talk and collaborate. We will throw ideas around and talk about the stuff that we like. So it’s really cool. Some people just follow me because I post a lot of outfits and shoes and jewelry.'
